This got a "whew doggy" reaction from Steve, that's what we say when something tastes really good, in our best Jed Clampet accent, you know, from the Beverly Hillbillies?
If it's really, really, good, it gets elevated to just a "doggy" !

The dipping sauce for the popcorn chicken is catsup mixed with sweet chili sauce.
Very nice meal, Chris. It's simply but balanced. Is the biscuit similar to the biscuit & gravy version we get for breakfast with added herbs?
ReplyDeleteYes, I think so, I sometines use the frozen Pillsbury biscuits for that treat. Probably could just add herbs to Bisquick. The herb taste is really evident, but mild, and they were good re-heated in the toaster oven!
