My Dad always liked to have nothing but the best. Last Sunday was Father's day and I wish my Dad were here to enjoy these nice meals, I know he would have loved it. We thought about our Dads all day Sunday and enjoyed these meals in their honor.....

ReplyDeleteDad wouuld have loved the filet mignon breakfast, can you come make that for us? It was funny, I rarely remember dreams, but I had a dream about mom & dad the morning of father's day. She was mad at him for some reason, but wasn't that always the case? I miss them both, and still have "gotcha" moments where I think of something I need to tell dad about, or remember it's Saturday & I should call mom.

Yes, the filet was so delicious for breakfast, that is a first for me.......is was so tender and juicy...I had let it rest out of the fridge for an hour or so and that is my new method of cooking steak, just plenty of salt and pepper, I know Dad would have added more salt! I frequently have memorable and recurring dreams of M&D, they are becoming less frequent now that time has passed, but mostly they're about Mom and sometimes she's young and sometimes old....it's weird
